Mary Lou's Story
Hi Fellow Classmates! I hope all of you are doing well. I am retired and living in the San Luis Obispo area, where my good friend (of over 50 years) Jerri Acock Young also lives.
I've been to some incredible places in my life, but there's still a lot to see and do, just at a different pace and mostly closer to home now. I really enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, although I don't get to do that as much as I'd like. And the family keeps growing (now includes 4 great-grand...Expand for more
kids). Am I really getting that old?
My latest passion has been researching my family tree and also connecting with DNA relatives that I didn’t know I had. What a Heinz 57 group we are! I have been able to go back many generations on some branches of my tree, and to a wide variety of countries primarily in Europe. Who would have thunk that I could go back that far! It’s amazing how much information is now available online.
